This is a blog response to an article that I read entitled, "Ten Things Smart Christians Beleive." the only issue i have with the article is that, for one it is rather demeaning toward my faith, but for two it says what smart christians beleive rather than what it should say. These are ten things that stupid christians beleive, Ready for the list?
1. Living God’s way will bring good fortune
Paul lived God's way for many years and the only thing that he got was beaten, imprisoned, and just straight up hated. 2nd corinthians 11 23-29 is a list of all the shit that he went through. In fact, he had rather good fortune back before his conversion when he was killing christians. He had a great education, social status, and a rather large religiouse following. If you think that a life of christ-likeness is going to bring you good fortune, then think again.
2. Faith can fix anything
The word fix implies that something is broken and that we need to make a Change no matter how hard you try you cannot change something by believing it will change. Faith in God and in the good Lord Jesus Christ only changes the way God sees us. It doesnt fix our sin nature and it doesnt make it easy for us to live according to Gods law. (Rom7)
3. Forgiving means forgetting
Gods perfect forgiveness cant possibly be forgetting because God is omniscient! he knows all and forgets nothing! there is no way for him to forget the things that we have done. Rather God's perfect forgiveness is seeing no sin in our lives because he saw it all completely payed for with the blood of the perfect sacrafice JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! AMEN!!!
4. A godly home guarantees godly kids
Okay has any one here ever heard the term preacher's daughter? It doesnt mean that she is a real goody two shoes my friend. This is probably the dumbest claim i've ever heard of. David was a man after Gods own heart and he was a Murdering adulterer! (Ill probably use this arguement alot in my Blog. its awesome)
5. God has a blueprint for my life
Bluepriint is a stupid word. God does have a plan. I dont want to get into the calvinist arminien debate here but i will say that, If you know something is going to happen, you plan on it. Right? well if God is omnicient he knows whats happning therefore, he plans on it.
6. Christians shouldn’t judge
Should any one judge? I mean every one does it any way but im pretty sure that if i walked up to any one and said, "Hey, Do you like Judgemental Douche-bags?" I'll bet you right no that they would say they didn't so Christians shouldnt judge but they do. so does every one else in the world.
7. Everything happens for a reason
Why did God even Create the Universe, Okay i'm gonna get in trouble for this one. And this is why im writing on an anonymous blog. God created the universe to "Glorify Him" in human words this means, because he was board and he wanted to do something bitchin. Guess what came out of it... the fuckin universe. Simply based on this principle alone nothing has a reason.
8. Let your conscience be your guide
Holy shit? What christian in the world believes this? The concience is a heart reaction a feeling which comes from the flesh. The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can understand it (jeremiah 17:9)
9. A valley means a wrong turn
Yeah. i dont feel this one even warrents a response. This is dumb.
10. Dead people go to a better place.
Nope! Plenty of dead people go directly to hell. (Daniel 12:2) So basically if you are a christian that believes these things, READ THE BIBLE. None of them are substantiated with biblical or practical evidence.
The Writer of "Ten Things Stupid Christians Believe" continues to say a bunch of stupid Ad hominim type arguments which i wont address but i was interested in his first ten "Things"

Christians Can Be Douche-bags
One of the things that I saw recently which drove me completely insane and actually pushed me to start writing this particular blog was a new craze thats going on right now in the church. For some reason these churches think its cool to protest in public places with signs that say things like, "God Hates Fags" and "Thank God for IEDs" alright, every one is thinking it now im going to say it. FUCK THESE PEOPLE! Where in the hell do you see in the bible that it is okay for you to do something like this? Nothing that i can say in text could get across to these people how much i dispize them and how much i know God personally must hate their entire ministry. I thought about pulling out verses from the bible to tell these people what they are doing wrong but i dont think i need a passage about the spec in their eye and the log in yours (Mathew 7:3) to realize that these people are ass-holes.
Im not going to lie and tell you that christians should be supporting homeosexuality. 1st corinthians 6:8-10 explicitly tells us that men who practice homosexuality will not inherit the kingdom of God. Because of this and many other passages in the bible im inclined to beleive that it is definitely not something supported by the christian beleif. However this does not give us the right to say the kinds of things that are being said against our brothers and sisters in christ who practice homosexuality. Romans 2 tells us that by judging people we condemn ourselves. (More on juging in future posts). Basically what im trying to say is that westboro baptist church and any one who supports their mission of being judgemental douche-bags can go fuck themselves. They are not real christians and all they are doing is giving those of us with true biblical beleif a bad name. I'm pretty sure if the apostle paul was here today he would say something similar.

Stupid Christians Mission
I don't want this blog to just be the ravings of a a lunatic. I dont want it to be the crazy on-going, rabbit-trail-chasing,and uneducated rambling of a total moron. Maybe that is what I am and that might be what some of these posts turn out to be. I remain optomistic. First I'll have to tell you that these thoughts are going to be straight from the heart. If I think a word it is going down on the page just the way I thought it. Hopefully I'll get a good rise out of some people and force them to start thinking about what they, as christians, are doing that is in this blog.
I AM GOING TO SWEAR!!! Thats right, you heard me. I am a christian who is totally cool with saying the word, "Fuck" Its part of our language today and I am not going to write under any pretense that my common tounge doesn't involve getting totally pissed off and straight up flipping a bitch at some one. There is a time and place for anger (Read "Good and Angry") and this blog is gonna be my outlet.
A little back story on me: I grew up in a southern baptist church in Colorado. Can't get much more back-country-hick-town, than where I came from. The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of home is a Billy Currington song entitled "That's How Country Boys Roll" which says, "We love mamma and Jesus and Jones." That's exactly what it was like, and I loved it, but, much like many churches around the world, there was a hidden philosophy in the system which said, "Works won't get you to heaven, but if you don't do them you are going to hell." The contradiction drove me completely insane and it wasn't untill I moved out of the house and started going to bible college that I realized why. (More on this in future posts)
I am currently attending college to get a bachlor's degree in theology, or biblical studies. Doesn't really matter what you call it but there's alot of late nights studying the bible and pouring over greek lexicons to figure out what it actually means. I wont tell you what school I'm currently attending in order to sheild people from reaping the reprocutions of what I'm going to say.
Basically my mission is to show aitheists and other secular groups that not all Christians are the douche-bags that the loud ones make us out to be. By the definition of christianity we are all 100% hypocrites (Explination in future posts.) I'm also here to talk to those people who have left the church or simply just been pissed off at christians. (God knows i have been) I simply have to put it out there that there is currently an underground of genuine people who study the bible and know what it really says. But there arent a whole hell of alot of us out here. So basically I'm here to tell you about all the christians who have been totally mindfucked into beleieving some of the shit that they do today.
